Allows conversion of wood-only extension arms to universal extension arms. Kit instructions show how to cut off the o0ld end fitting and drill for the attachment of the new end fitting via a carriage bolt. Conversion permits easy removal of the crossarm clamp for periodic reconditioning of the pole.
